Toxins are a huge part of why many people don’t feel their best on a day-to-day basis.
Toxins are manmade and natural substances that are harmful to various biological processes. Toxins affect us, our pets, plant life, animals, and our water.

There are three basic exposure pathways: inhalation, ingestion, & skin contact.

We tend to focus on the food element (WE LOVE FOOD) of exposure, but your environment and the products you use are just as important.

Non-organic ingredients are grown by using large amounts of pesticides, many of which have not been tested for their affects on the human body. Believe it or not although PCBs were banned in the 70s, they are still found in our natural environment and foods, like dark leafy greens, today!

With the build up of so many different toxins in our environments, it is more important than ever to be proactive and protect yourself.

How can you do this?
  • Question everything.
Start by going through your pantry and reading the ingredients. Is it organic? Does it have any added sugars or oils? Can you pronounce all of the ingredients on the label? On fresh produce, read the stickers, how far did your produce travel? The longer the distance, the less nutritional value it has. Using tools such as the Dirty Dozen list will help you navigate specific produce to stay away from, especially non-organic!
  • Listen to your body
Your body is an instrument for cleaning out toxins. The problem is, we have become so overloaded that it is hard to identify our red flags anymore! Some red flags that your system is overloaded include acne, headaches, body aches, bloating, or rashes. If you are experiencing these symptoms, and you want to learn more on our top strategies for healing the body, watch our free Masterclass, Your Body Can Heal Itself.
  • Intentional cleansing
Just as we shower the dirt off the outside of our bodies, we must intentionally choose ingredients to help us cleanse the dirt on the inside of our bodies. The best way to do this is to include super-foods such as sea vegetables and rich sources of antioxidants. We recommend a quarterly reset cleanse.

Your body has the power to heal, as long as you give it the tools it needs!
